Forza 2 does sound like a brilliant game and I have to admit that the AI etc in it sounds really good. I have grown a bit bored of games like this though tbh. I used to play GT quite a lot and have always been into the F1GP series on the PC. I just don't actually get the time to play games like this anymore, the last I played was TOCA3 on PC, and I find them incredibly frustrating when you have done lap after perfect lap and then a slight lapse in concentration sends you off the track and ruins the whole race. Motorstorm is more my cup of tea these days as it's just pick up and play with not so much of a learning curve and it's also a hell of a lot of fun ;)

Phil Harrison recently stated in an interview: "With Killzone, the expectation internally and externally is very high - and I won't show it until it's going to exceed people's expectations. It will be next year before we show it again, but it's coming along very well. The teams are working very hard, they know exactly what they have to do and there's no doubt they will achieve it, but there's nothing to be served by something that doesn't satisfy my goals for the project. I can tell you, though, that some elements already exceed the trailer."

Just because there isnt much news now dont mean there isnt any coming games...Just look at the launch line up, there is one or two to keep you occupied for a while.

Hold on a minute your a PS3 fan to the extreeme you should know off the top of your head.

Whys it a problem its a GENUINE QUESTION to ask in a PS3 thread regarding the systems demand "what games can we be certain of this year on the system?"

Not confirmed, But the rumour Mill has spouted out the possibilty of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune coming out in 2007, aswell as Bladestorm.

But I'm guessing later, rather than sooner

Im sure just like you people will not even be interested in certain titles from whatever list we know will be playable. You could have a list of 20 game but only 3 appeal to a certain gamer. On the other side if a certain game appears people will buy a system just for that game.

My point is this is a MAJOR fundemental reason why the system ISNT selling like hot cakes. Its also relevance to anyone considering purchasing one...

Cant we just state the actual facts of the situation is all

Just been into town for lunch, and there are still plenty of shops taking pre-orders for launch day..

Even online shops are still taking pre-orders..

What does this say.. I don't know.. I'm sure if your anti-sony it's a bad thing, if you are pro-sony it's a good thing..

One thing is for sure, console launch analysis is another area it's just best not to analyse..

I was just going to mention that GTA 4 is out, but your list seems quite definitive.

I suspect the question will now become "which games are coming out exclusively to PS3 and do you have an oath in blood from the publishers promising this on their mother's life?" :D (just kidding before this thread gets any more off topic).

Im really excited about the PS3 now - i love my 360, i love my pc - ill love the ps3 as well, they are like my three children, each one is special in their own way.

PS3 with the blueray should be a nice match for my new 55" 1080p tv too :p

Some of course will get delayed.
Some multiformat titles might be better on a rival system regards online or content.

TBH it wasn't needed as anyone who is thinking about getting a console can find ps3.ign.com to look at the list of release dates.
If people can look around for bargains they can look at that.
 
Have to say to Elrazur and Jumpurs,you make me feel ashamed to want a PS3.
