Has anyone modded their controller even if it just adding Thumb pads or Controller Grips. What are you using and how are you finding them????

Yup did the same changed the falling apart horrible analogue sticks to Xbox One ones. I don't even like the One controller but the thumbsticks are miles better.

why don't you take a look at scuf or cinch controllers for ideas?

i did some research on scuf and build quality is meant to be crap compared to cinch and with very long lead times. the reason why they are so well known and regarded though is because they sponsor a lot of pro players.

they can mod the triggers (one of the trigger mods is unsuitable for destiny) as well as add back buttons/paddles.

I replaced the battery in mine with a 2000mAh as the standard one is awful, apart from that I'm happy with the pad.

My launch day sticks are still perfectly intact too, so I didn't suffer the disintegrating issue.

I am surprised that there isn't a kit available to add paddles like the scuf controller. Surely it would be a pretty simple mod, Add the paddles and switches and wire into the buttons you want them to emulate. Simple and effective. No reprograming etc.

Nismo is there a guide on how to replace the battery?

If you open it up the battery is really easy to get to. There's a few screws, that's it. Just be careful with the shoulder buttons when you separate the shell

Which trigger mod is unsuitable for destiny???

Trigger stops don't work with Destiny. Also Like Psycho I've read horrible things about Scuf so I wouldnt go near them, if your lucky things work, but if anything goes wrong your screwed. They have horrible support too.

Personally right now I have KontrolFreek FPS Freek CQC right now and I find them just perfect. I've noticed my aim has improving, I have better control, and their not very tall so its comfortable to use.

If I wanted some paddles I think I would go with sharqcontrollers, looks like their closed right now but their British company and have some good reviews. I'm thinking to just take a punt on them and send in my 2nd controller.

I am really thinking hard about getting the Cinch controller with the 4 buttons on the back and the X1 Sticks. I really think this might be my best choice out there as they are the only ones I can find that do the 4 buttons on the back, I don't fancy paddles they break to easy.

I havnt used them but seen them when doing a search for PS4 gamepad mods. They are pretty expensive but they are customised controllers. Not a fan of the buttons on their pads I prefer the paddles like the Scuf.

Scuf CS is really bad, if your lucky you won't get any issues but most things I've read are about huge amounts of delays, bad builds, horrible CS, issues never being fixed. If your a Pro gamer though they will send you 10 for free, but **** paying customers.
