PS4 worth getting?

What's the point in selling something to buy back at a later date?

You spend more money that way?

Ive never understood that either dude. It seems to be quite common now with younger people though,my brother in law included. They buy it and play whats out then sell it on so its kind of like a rental fee. It makes sense in that way but my outlook is I bought all the consoles at launch so thats it ,they bought and paid for and now I will only ever have to pay for games. Saves another big purchase in the near future

I bought my PS4 in January for £470 (+ 2 games and PS+) but I should've have waited until around now or a few months time. Because of Tesco's Clubcard boost, I could technically get it now for £190 which is a bit annoying. It's been gathering dust up until the past week so it was certainly a stupid purchase! I'm sure it'll be destined for greatness once developers for ex-gen.

Will wait for the right time to get the Xbox One as well - maybe middle of next year.

Wait until they fix the controller issues.

The R2 issue that plagues them is a real pain in the backside. I bought a used PS4 that was only three months old, but already the R2 button on the controller is starting to stick... eventually it will fail. Apparently they are supposed to have fixed the shredding rubber problem, bit I have stick covers on just in case. Pretty poor for a £50 controller.

Had I known about it, I would have waited.
