PSP memory cards

can you install any themes with out having to flash the psp ?

ive tried but they all seem to be for custom firmware :(

Really? Why bother having theme in the settings if you can't add your own? Having a tasty treat is the most random thing they could have as the only other theme on there.

It didn't even come with a usb cable! I didn't bother researching these things as I didn't think sony would low ball you by not including these things in the box. They could have just gave you a 32mb stick to start off with.

I had to use my PS3's charge cable, really poor show by Sony, money grabbing ****'s.

As for Themes, you don't need custom firmware, but the PSP sucks without CFW so get it flashed!

i will do it at some point ;) just need a pandoras battrie, then some reading lol.

I think I read in an earlier thread that there is an adapter for the PSP that converts Micro SD cards to Memorysticks so that you can use Micro SD cards in the PSP but I haven't seen them anywhere.
:(

There is indeed an adaptor where you can add-in upto an 8gb Micro SD card, its the Memory Stick that is made by Datel, where it comes supplied with a 1gb Micro SD card, and just pull that out and put in as many SD cards as you like, the only catch is that it costs £15 for the 1gb version!

You can get a pandora battery off of the Datel site, as they have the simplest of all solutions on how to convert a standars battery to a pandora, and then from pandora to standars when you are finished.

I can put my hand up and say that it does work, as I had to have CFW on my PSP lite as the official one was far too restrictive.

Some reading is what I had to do myself, as getting to grips with everything in the beginning can take a bit of getting used to. There is 1 site that I found more helpful than most, but I cannot list it here as there might be a few items on the site that would be frowned upon here

I used my mp3 charge cable which is 10x longer than the ps3 charge cable. Its all win now.

I'm going to get my psp all custom firmwared up soon. What are the chances of bricking it?

Wow, that is excactly what I need but I can't find such a deal in Holland, I can't even find any memorystick adapter that can use SD cards :(

There's a chance of bricking if you do it wrong. It's pretty hard to get wrong though!

The Pandora's battery method can recover a bricked PSP though. (It's actually how Sony fix some of them as far as I know, but obviously they put the official firmware back on).

I'd suggest getting a premade Jigkick battery, rather than making your own. It's far more convenient.

who buys games.... i use it for media ;)

Me. I'd rather not be one of the people that makes people frown upon the CFW because they'd rather download the games.
