Nah don’t want to connect to molex. Need to break the SATA connector into wires hence that, then send 7v into a opposite sata connector (butcher a cable here) and done.

You don't need a SATA to LP4 connector, surely? Any 5, 7 and 12V switcheroo you can do to a LP4 you can do to a SATA.

I do. The PSU is a ROG Thor. Have you seen what they cost?. I mean yeah, I got it "cheap" for £150 but I certainly would not modify the cables tbh. Another issue is they are all black, and any confusion and something goes bang. Easier to make a little piggy back adapter tbh.

Edit. Talking of which. The only cables I had here to use are all either red or plain black. Again, that worried me. So I got this for £1.99 delivered.

Over the sake of £5 total I would not mod the PSU wiring.

Yup, that worked. Thank the heavens... Pump is now very quiet indeed, and the cryo still works so it's obviously not sniffing for pump RPM in order to activate it.
