@Gibbo, I'm currently talking to customer services regarding the Powercolor Fighter card I received from the first drop, unfortunately it was dead on arrival, it's on it's way back to you now, they have said I can take a refund or I'll get sent another card when stock becomes available but unsurprisingly they can't tell me when that will be as they don't know.
I have asked if I could pay the difference and get one of these Sapphires as a replacement instead, they tell me that I'd have to get refunded for the Fighter and ordered one of these and wait again, not that I even could have course. I cannot face going to the back of the queue again or sitting in one without having any idea how long it will be, I just can't. Please can you make it possible to, use one of the cards from the cancelled orders from these low life scalpers to replace my dead card? ...I'm damned if I am going to the back of the queue again or back out into the cold now I've managed to order something, only been trying since September
Also I was asked to call sales as the customer services person couldn't do what I was asking, fine, I spent 22 minutes waiting listening to a telephone message telling me I shouldn't call and the wait could be over an hour, I've had to get off the line as I don't have time for this as I am at work myself. Shouldn't customer services actually be sorting this stuff out for the customer once contact has been made either through the web or otherwise ?
I'm feeling quite frustrated right now, wait unknown amount of time or take a refund isn't acceptable to me, not when I
know there is another way to handle this.
To be clear, I don't care weather I get a replacement Fighter or the Sapphire Nitro I do not use a windowed side panel so makes no difference to me, I know one is more expensive and I am willing to pay that difference, I really don't care which I get I just want the dead card replaced as soon as humanly possible.
