anyone by chance know where i can buy pull up bar frames, ive seen the ones you put in but i dont trust them, any help is appreciated.

I built a wooden A-frame and fitted it with an barbell bar to make something similar, bit of side-to-side motion though. Been up for around 2 years and supported over 100kg though

Why not? Simply a case of leverage here, if you're pulling down on it then it holds more tightly onto the doorframe so no chance of slippage unless your entire doorframe goes.
