Great! Sorry about your hard drive though... :o

But my biggest concern really is how well it dampens noise and stops vibrations from planting itself to the case?? I'm sure it's cooling well enough though...

Pics as requested. Sorry about cam quality, got shaky hands from hard work.. at work hehe.

Haven't done much but once i have saved enough cash, i'll be getting this case sprays asap.

This is the Aquadrive and i must admit, with the HDD's in place, this drive weighs at least 2-3 Seasonic PSU's on top of one another!

One thing i need to do though is either change my DVDRW for a SATA version of get the smallest IDE cable i can find. The yellow ones DFI provide are rather big as you can see in the pics.

I'm leaving the side panels off for the summer as my rooms the hottest in the house and so room temp is between 25-30c especially at night.

As it stands:

CPU @ 27c idle
@ 33c load

GPU @ 46c idle (overclocked not massively, only around 50mhz increase on core and memory)
@ 51c load

Ram @ 41c idle and no change at load

Chipset @ 42c idle and no change at load

Aquadrive @ 37c idle and around 40c load/write

ps. will take photos again once my hand stops shaking lol

The CPU will be overclocked later as i want to make sure everything burnt in well :)

There is still one more slot in the drives i have to fill and thats going to be a VL-Systems M-Play controller which should arrive by Tuesday.

Edit. Oh and a 320Gb Seagate 7200.10 is on the way to replace my corrupt HDD as well as a Seagate 750Gb to act as a back up for all of my other stuff

Nice, but that thing is a monster, wouldn't have that on top of my foot :p

But how is the aquadrive? Does it dampen noise and vibrations a lot? I really want it, but it's like £80 so it has got to be good to be worth it...

TBH i can't hear any of the drives... at times i actually have to put my hand on the aquadrive to make sure the HDD's are running and not stalling or off.

Sounds great, my hard drive is really bugging me with it's noise :( . I've entered an evil circle after going water cooling, after one thing is more quiet I can suddenly hear something I couldn't hear previous. Right now it's the hard drive... btw, what does TBH mean?? :p

Even when the hard drives are working you can't hear they?

TBH = To Be Honest.

Then again is depends on the make of your hard drives.. some are more quiet/louder than others.

The drives i only go for which operate quietly are Samsung Spinpoints and Seagates.

The noisy and audible drives i have tried are Western Digital and Maxtor... but then again people have different opinions.

And lastly, yep the hard drives i run, i can't hear them when running and those drives are Spinpoints. One of the most, if not the only ones which are the quietest of all drives

I have a WD 320gb ide drive right now, if I buy the aquadrive I will insert a Seagate barracuda 120gb as well. Have you tried with a WD or any other noisy disks?

But I think the seagate is also pretty noisy, it's from the end of 2003 though

you NEED to get another black orbital too, that silver panel ruins the front of it.

The place i bought my Aquadrive from forgot to put my Aquaero black plate with it so it should arrive shortly

Put an engine in there and Drive it to LAN parties!

that thing is huge!

Awesome work, looks awesome and I'm loving the tidyness... Think I might have to take a leaf outa your book sometime soon and tidy up mine, it's suffering from 4 MoBo changes and 3 changes of WC loop without a tidy inbetween :(

Keep up the good work and MORE PICS!

My case needs a better tidy too! Don't even have watercooling either lol.

Problem is my PSU being at the bottom of the case... cables have to go along the bottom of the case and up over the mobo, hard to make it tidy in there!

Planning on cutting a hole in the mobo tray and feeding the cables in through the back. Just need to find time to lug my stacker downstairs, take out the mobo and find the dremmel :D
