Q6600 not Prime stable @ stock :o(

Ha, fraid not.

It seemed fine on the small FFT's. It was striding through that no problems.

I'm stuck. Really wanted to clock all this gear but don't know what to do.....

Failing that, the only other thing I can think to try is to change the RAM dividier to something lower speed.

What frequency is the RAM actually running at?

It's PC-8500. I don't know lol. That means it's running at 1066Mhz. That sounds stock to me?

Presumably it's actually running at 266MHz??

the memory multiplyer will be at 2 if it's running at stock and memory at 533mhz, means the ram is at twice the speed of your FSB.

so you need your multiplyer on 4, i think, meaning your FSB would be 266mhz, and the ram would be 1066mhz

They're only running at PC2-5300 speeds then. I certainly wouldn't expect the Ballistix to cause problems at that speed.

Try the x4.0 Memory Multiplier (choose the x4.0 with the ~ beside it).

would 533mhz not be PC4200?

pc5300 is 667mhz?
