'QiQ' 11p hosting for a year

At the moment my hosting is done with godaddy, it is just the free one that you get when you purchase a domain,

Is it just a case of changing the nameservers to redirect my URL to this host?
 
I didn't register a domain as it was an extra £10, did I screw up there? I'm not actually sure what I got for 11p, I need somewhere that I can upload the occasional file to and download it elsewhere, have I got this ability for my 11p?

I am aware that I appear quite stupid.
 
I have two domains, of the same name but one is .com one is .co.uk

That'll cost me£0.22 for both then? Hmmm...may just use the .co.uk on it and create a separate site...
 
just be careful ordering all through them I don't know them but make sure you can transfer your domain name if required afterwards.

Still 11p good deal.

Still 11p too expensive for me since I don't need hosting.
 
You can save £19.88 on any of their packages...was bored so messing about and put in one of the bigger accounts and the code, took off £19.88. :D

I'll be fine with the 11p one though. :)

You can do multi discounts too...added two of the £19.99 packages and it's 22p :)

About £60 cheaper than my Servage hosting, however i'd go over their bandwidth allowance in a week... :p

Still a good deal if they are a good host however. :)
 
Tempted to go for this just for the sake of it, however I have no idea how to connect it to a domain name I had a year back.

Would I be able to use the name I had before? Or would I have to re-buy the name?
 
|For 11p you can test them out for a year. If they are better than what i have already then i'll move them all. :)

Does miss quite a lot of features from cpanel but still very good at £19.99 next year too.

You can transfer it or just point the name servers their way
 
I'm getting irritated. I can't find ANY information on how to setup my DNS as my domain is managed by 123-reg. All I want is an A or CNAME Record FFS.

You don't even need to cancel, I've just come to the end of 1 year for 99p and they sent an email saying if you don't want to renew, just let it lapse and they will cancel it. (but charge you £5 if you let it lapse, then want to renew it)

My hosting ran out in March but has still kept going for free but I may just buy this just incase for 11p.
 
So I want to set up a website in the next few weeks (im currently trialing on a 000webhsot free domain, omg its soooo slow).

Can I just purchase the 11p now and transfer a domain of my choice over at a later date for free or will it cost?
 
So, do I "have" to change my domains nameservers to QiQ's, or can I just point my current nameservers to QiQ's hosting?

If the latter, where in gods name can I find IP addresses for doing the above :/
