'QiQ' 11p hosting for a year

Guys I registered a domaim with 123-reg.

When doing the qiq thing what option do I pick?

I want to transfer my domain to QiQ?
I will update my nameservers on an existing domain Or I will register a new domain?

So, how would I set this up? I purchased a domain from daily.co.uk...

BTW, thanks OP for posting this

Well i have zero experience of daily.co.uk so you'll have to ask them if its possible and where the option is. Probably under 'change name server'.

Whoa you'd have to be stupid to miss this! I haven't got any projects on the go yet - but at 11p - I'll risk possibly needing hosting within the next year :p

Same here. Just bought one of the .info domains from daily.co.uk How would i go about hosting it with QiQ? When i click transfer a domain it just says i need to order it

Hmm, I need to figure out how to move my timbrad.com stuff around to here, but for now I'll sign up with something similar sounding, can't hurt to have can it! :)

I cant pay for some reason, its saying "This currency is not supported for this payment method - please select an alternative currency or payment method."

I'm using a VISA CC, is anyone else having this problem?

Im attempting to sign up and register my domain however according to them all the .co.uk addresses in the world are taken...... anyone else getting this issue?

I seem to be having a problem with a domain I've bought from daily.co.uk and hosting from QiQ. Can't log onto Filezilla at all!

This package would be enough to host a Wordpress blog, wouldn't it?

Yes, so long as it's comparatively quiet and you don't post a lot of images people would hotlink.

You can prevent hotlinking, but it boosts you way up the google list if people hotlink your images.

For example, the 1st google image result for "floorhorse" is my blog, but that image alone costs me a 3rd of my 100GB bandwidth limit every month.

You can block hotlinking and still allow Google images search results.

Stick this in you .htaccess

RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://images.google.co.uk/.*$ [NC]
RewriteRule \.(gif|jpg)$ http://www.LOCATION OF IMAGE YOU WANT.jpg[R,NC]

I just bought a domain from elsewhere, but it's in the process of registration. Its WHOIS registration status is 'Registration request being processed'. I just bought the hosting, and chose to update the nameservers of that domain. Is there going to be any issue with that?

Anyway, thanks for posting this great offer!

This will get your image onto the image search, but not the the top of the list, your image needs to be seen by google on other sites for this, and for this, hotlinking needs to be allowed.
