Quad Core ?

You could as long as your running the 64bit of Windows XP or Vista, else it will only see around 3GB of it.

ok cool thanks... but what differences would i see ?

My Computer; Properties would report 4096MB RAM rather than 2048MB RAM? ;)

Seriously though for most usage you wouldn't see much difference. You may find that game loading periods are less frequent and/or quicker, and you'll notice some differences if you're doing heavy duty photoshop work, multitasking with resource hungry software or running virtual machines.

after thinking some more... i was thinking i might get a Quad Core :) hehehe...
but i need to check if everything would be ok... i think my cooling would be ok but feel free to tell me if not ;) also my motherboard does support it does it not... i am almost certain it does... just making sure...

and anything else i might of missed please feel free to comment !

Lightscribe drives are pretty fun. I've had one for over a year but only just used it a few weeks ago.

You have to buy special lightscribe dvd's/cd's but the image it burns on it pretty impressive.

It takes mine about 21minutes to do it.

hey.... i am thinking about water cooling (well i have been thinking about it for a while now ;)) but i am just wondering... how much would it cost roughly... i mean i know we are talking 100's here... but how much do you think ? and also where do i begin... what inside my pc do i cool ? do i buy a kit or custom make it ?

Any help would be very nice :D

also some people tell me water cooling is too extreme... but for some reason i really really want it ;) just call it human nature !!

I would go custom kit sahjin.

£150 would be fine for the CPU.

D-tek FuZion & Thermochill PA120.2 in that. Very nice indeed.

You using it in the rig in your sig?

yeah i would be... what about cooling anything else.... like Graphic card... i assume cooling a 8800GTS would be expensive ?

If you want a second loop for it then that would be another £150 or so.

hmmmm... we are talking a bit too much money at the moment there... the 150 for the cpu does not sound bad though... but what exactly would i need ?
