The thing is although it looks mighty impressive the run itself is split into many different sections. If you play a level over and over you will learn off by heart where to aim, where to shoot, where enemies are coming from and where you need to jump etc. They will simply practise level 1 for days or weeks, record 50 or more runs until they get 1 perfect and then move on to level 2, and then just paste the clips together.
Anyone here could do that given enough time, doing that all in 1 run without making mistakes would be a different story.

Last time this got posted here somebody claimed that it wasn't a true 100% run (claiming some monsters hadn't been killed), until I asked them for examples which I was then able to explain how they got killed (in highly optimised runs like this, often you don't waste time killing all monsters in a room on the first pass if you are going to return through there later - you can also incite fights between the monsters so they kill each other).
Make sure you check out other QDQ runs that don't go for 100% kills and secrets, instead of 52mins it will take about 10mins with some much more extreme shortcuts.

It's done as an event for cancer research, just finished.
If its the same video think I was one of the people who commented on this, pretty sure on one level there are 2 monsters they bypass, do not come back to and the monsters are not killed incidentally by other events either. Don't have time atm to watch it and check.

I disagree.
I don't think anyone could have come up with the theory of relativity given enough time. I don't think anyone can play Brahms' piano concertos perfectly given enough time. I don't think anyone could have written The Beatles' music given enough time.

So you're putting these comparisons in the 1%?
probably form less than 1% of the world's activities....... hence making the 99% still valid?
