Queen Elizabeth II has passed away - keep posts civil and respectful

Then I am disappointed. I have no objection to either wearing uniforms of their earned ranks, but the unearned ranks are another matter.

Honorary ranks. Just like honorary degrees.

Probably something to do with all their patronising. How are you meant to be taken seriously as a military patron and meeting the top brass if you're going around dressed as a lieutenant.

So the monarch bumps them up to an honourary general/admiral/whatever and now they're an appropriate rank on paper for the job. Everyone knows it's just for show.

I'm certain his mate has it recorded for TikTok
Some people want their 5 mins of fame and I hope no paper publishes his name.
Perhaps it was teenwolf wishing to prove his theory people were actually respecting an empty box? ;)

Meanwhile the exotically named Adio Adeshine exposed himself to people in the queue before engaging in some frottage with two women's rear ends. He then entered the Thames to try and avoid arrest, but emerged after a short while, ardour presumably cooled, and was taken into custody. He has previous. He now needs his ardour cooling medically, IMHO. Let's hope this is the last of the vulgarity.

I read that headline about the sexual assaults but couldn't bear to click on the links. What an absolute tool to do that, and then to try and escape in the Thames?!
