Queen Elizabeth II has passed away - keep posts civil and respectful

The American president cannot walk down the street at home. Meeting the people as here would be a security issue. It is just what they are used to.
I don't think we are asking him to walk down the street though I am at a loss to which street you allude to, but I can see no reason why he could not have got the bus with the rest of the world leaders etc. Will he be having the usual 40/50 cars accompanying the Beast? :D

For the funeral there are multiple heads of state and Royals arriving, including such high status people as the Emperor of Japan, and not one has made any qualms about using a bus, albeit a posh bus, to ferry them to the service. Yet Biden has to have the huge convoy and his own armoured 'Beast'. I wonder why that is?
That is always how the president will travel when it is publicly known he is travelling and I don’t think secret service will permit an exception

The man who broke from the queue of mourners to interfere with Her Majesty's coffin has been named and charged.

Muhammad Khan, 28, of Tower Hamlets in north London, has been charged with "behaviour intending to cause alarm, harassment or distress" and will appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday - the same day as the Queen's state funeral.

Random question from curiosity perspective...

Where do the likes of Biden stay when they're over (especially when there's so many heads of state this time round). Can't exactly see them in a Premier Inn :D but don't see them even staying in somewhere like a Hilton where other members of the public are either. If it was just one head of state I guess they could stay somewhere like Buckingham Palance or Chequers but for this many people it seems mad they'd just stay in a general hotel

I would imagine he'll reside with the US Ambassador in her very well protected residence, Winfield House in Regent's Park. A perhaps interesting aside is Winfield House boasts the second largest private garden in London, one only surpassed in acreage by that of Buckingham Palace itself.

Perhaps other world leaders will stay in their related embassies? None essential staff will be filling up London hotels.

Here’s the info about the Spanish King and Queen https://sportsfinding.com/felipe-vi...-emeritus-will-stay-at-the-same-hotel/161445/.

Even the former King Juan Carlos is coming. Even though he’s made every Spanish person angry. Plus his daughters who flew to Dubai during lockdowns!

No idea how Spain is going to do with him when he dies. Spanish people don’t want a state funeral. Probably just bury/inter him in the night as they used to do with monarchs.

I wouldn't know, it's just a place I read about in the crime sections of the media ;) Sky News was the article's source:

See they’ve taken that guys advice on board (just without the conveyors and coffin on a robotic arm :p) and are running 2 lanes per side now to get more people through.
They started that on day 2.

They should have denied home the fame he craves and just referred to him as the person.

Denying the fame these people won’t would probably stop a number of these incident’s. I’m looking at you America.

No way he queued for 12 hours lol.

You telling me he was not noticed by the tens of thousands of people and TV news outlets prior to popping up just before the entrance?

No one has told you that, he literally was spotted by the press when in the queue, there was footage of it posted online after all he's pretty famous.

Hidden among the throng, David Beckham waited for more than 13 hours to pay his respects to the Queen yesterday despite being offered the chance to jump the queue by an MP.

Dressed in a suit that hid his famous tattoos, a cap and a Covid mask, the former England captain, 47, joined mourners in the ‘Elizabeth line’ at 2am, going unnoticed by the masses for hours as he shuffled his way from Southwark Park to Westminster Hall.

Along with those around him, who helped keep his secret initially, Beckham said he survived on the very unfootballer-like diet of ‘Pringles, sherbet lemons, sandwiches, coffee and doughnuts’.

‘We all want to be here together. We all want to experience something where we celebrate the amazing life of our Queen and I think something like this today is meant to be shared together,’ he told BBC News.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder saw his cover finally blown shortly after midday, with members of the public taking to social media to share the news he was there.

The Daily Mail can reveal Beckham had been invited to view Her Majesty’s coffin by an MP, who is allowed to take up to four guests, to jump the queue. But he declined the offer, saying that his grandfather Joseph West – a staunch royalist and the man the footballer has called his ‘real-life hero’ – would have been disappointed.
