Prince Harry says he is making sure the Queen is 'protected and has the right people around her' ... beware of expats bearing gifts maam,

He's a narcissist who found another narcissist to enable him. I swear they honestly think they'll change the world in the way Jesus did :D

Or he's possibly more "connected with humanity" now that he's not living in and around Royals and their retainers all the time?

I'd imagine he's probably like most people, worried about a gran who is getting on and not in the best of health, and wants to make sure she's not being pushed into doing things that she's not up to doing or has people who can tell her "we know you want to do this, but you may not be up to it" when needed.

I'm not a massive fan of the royals, and think Harry has been an utter prat in the past, but he's also done something very few of the other royals have done, and that is worked alongside "normal" people for an extended period of time in harsh conditions as opposed to popping out to see them for a few hours then retiring to a nicely prepared hotel room or similar.
I suspect he's probably far closer in outlook/experience to Phillip than most of the other royals, if just from having served in the military on active duty on the ground.
 
You think his and Markles scorched earth ( leave for usa) strategy was a good decision pretending it would not have ramifications on the Queen ?
If he wanted to put things right he would have not just stopped of his way to the games for his (and her, netflix filmed, publicity hanger on stunt) appearance, conducting a salacious interview with usa press;
I 've a lot more sympathy for Prince Andrew frankly, and his naivety versus macheovelic Harry&meghan

Harry was a commisioned officer - and probably shares a lot of similar experiences as Andrew, not sure H had as much responsibility though or man management working with proletariat as A.

He came from a family where they have someone to put toothpaste on their toothbrush ffs. They are detached from reality, they believe they have been placed in this position by a deity and you call him a narcissist. The best thing he did was get out of there. The whole family needs ditching once she pops her clogs. Bunch of sponges on this nation.
 
Mate does a lot for different news stations as a bit of a royal correspondent or whatever you'd call it.

Apparently he's filmed all his segments in preparation for her popping her clogs, a few months back already.

Yep, all major news companies will have the obituary sorted long in advance, words, footage.

Come to that, the queen has had her funeral planned a long time in advance. Philip organised his own in advance too, back of a landrover and all :)
 
looks like she should abdicate then - if her health precludes being in public life, she'd get a lot of sympathy and respect from them,
and , why wouldn't she want to see Charles crowned.
mans got to know his limitations.
