Queen Elizabeth II has passed away - keep posts civil and respectful

The procession in the way to the Abbey and now have both been astonishing to watch... The gun and big ben going off in the background with the music, and all the formal uniforms etc, just something else....

I'd like to see some more footage of all the different elements of the procession on the BBC coverage though, feels like we've only had glimpses of some of the elements.

The gradually fading sound of the lone bagpiper before they left the Abbey was quite special too.

How can people not feel an overwhelming sense of pride watching this.

The greatest country honouring their greatest Queen.

Incredible.
But....why?
My dad is watching it saying I should be also as its history, the whole british pride thing is very odd to me, I didn't contribute anything.

Walked to my parents at 9am. Was very quiet, similar to the early days of first lockdown.

One idiot tried to drive into McDs. Squashed two cones in process of reversing out.

Queen would be proud of the funeral.
