We knew it had to come, but it is still an enormous shock. I'm 50 years old and she has always been a part of my life. My Mother, aged 88 will be devastated.

Sad, but 96 is in incredible age and she was a special lady. I’m glad she at least saw the jubilee. Clearly went downhill after Philip passed. Not surprising after such a long life together.

Well this is going to be a first for our generation to get a new royal. In a way it's very interesting to see what happens.

But for now, my condolences and rest in peace even more for those that were close to her.

The first few times the National Anthem is sung I can hear people sing God Save Our Qu,King. As majority of people have always sang Queen.

Only just found out from my sister, I read earlier she was been monitored. She must have been unwell meeting Truss only 2 days ago.
