VR Cover seem to have new options/colours and stock back in at their European store :D. Just ordered, hopefully it will arrive before the end of the year.

Yeah, I just went for the black and white stormtrooper edition.

Nice! Going to pick up black/red. I figure over time, black will probably look less worn/dirty than white.

Edit: I thought I read somewhere shipping is €7, but it's coming up as €12?

Edit 2: Oh that's the US site. Pretty expensive, hope it's worth it!

Edit 3: Went for white/red in the end! :D I'll see how it compares with a cheap GOMRVR one that I bought for £12.

I'm interested in the elite strap rear pad, as I could do with a bit more cushioning there.

The biggest problem with VR Cover though is their shipping takes ages, and is expensive. Makes me more reluctant to order.

Ordered my Grips from VR Covers last week on the 7th, they arrived this morning!!

They are a little on the expensive side, but, you are getting quality. And you do get two facial interfaces, a container to hold the spare interface and some disposable covers.

Their shipping times were longer than normal before Xmas, but, they usually deliver inside 14 days.

That's favouritism there. I ordered my face cover on the 7th, shipped on the 8th, and it hasn't arrived yet. Who delivered yours, Royal Mail, Parcelforce someone else?

Have installed the Grips. Yeah, they are ok. Made from a harder material than I expected and feels like my grip would slip more on these than the stock grip. Maybe they might wear in and get improve grip over time.

Comfort wise, again, ok. I just feel like they are going to slip off my hand with any quick movements. The ability to open my hands and pick something up without leaving down the controller is nice.

Overall, You don't need them. They don't really add anything to the VR experience and I wouldn't buy them again. If you must have the ability to open your hand and not drop the controllers then I would recommend that you buy cheap ones from Ali express. They really are a gimmick.

I went with the Kiwi grips (pro design), I had Kiwi grips back when I had the original quest and liked them so figured I would give their new design a try and very happy with them.

It was mostly in Half Life Alyx I appreciated them, opening your hand when pushing open a door was a small thing but added to the immersion.

I just received my VRCover face cover and there is Velcro missing from the plastic insert on the bottom left hand side so the pad has nothing to stick to there. I’ve sent a message to them and hopefully they’ll get this resolved ASAP.

That sucks, to wait so long and then it arrives broken.

Did you try it on anyway?

That issue aside I had another issue where with the VRCover on the Q2 would have a black screen which I assumed was the cover interfering with the sensor. A quick Google search confirmed this so I repositioned the pad and now it seems ok. If it happens again I can disable the sensor in the debug tool. I always press the button to make it sleep anyway.

One other thing is I will be glad when I get my prescription lenses as it's more uncomfortable with this cover and glasses than it is with the OEM pad.

Overall though, I do prefer it to the standard pad.

its getting the Q2 on and off with the VR Cover i find more difficult, but once on correctly, its miles ahead of the standard padding

ill be going prescription lens this year as i want to take away the black rings i see because im -11 and -10 in my eyes, so i want to sit closer to the screen and be more immersed
