Quest 3 owners etc

Does anyone else have the issue that the four extendable positions for the face mask don't lock properly? On the right if pulled out to position four although it sounds like it clicks in the slightest pressure and it moves into position three.
Same on the left hand side but it won't stay in positions 2 or 3.
Yes I've got the same problem, also different on each side like with yours.

Anyone know if the "extendable bit" is upgradeable?

Anyone else having issues with MSFS 2020. I have IL2 running like a dream but MSFS is a complete and utter jumbled mess with mass shimmering yet I had it dialled in fine on the Rift S . I'm using a decent link cable that does the job for all other steam games. 6900XT, i59600K, 32gb ram oculus tray tool same settings. I've played with every setting under the sun but still no joy.

Hey guys anyone noticed if there is some improvement of passtrough quality after v59 update ? Mine still at v57 yet ...

Mine's still at 57. Strange because as I powered my headset off last night it told me it was doing an update. Then it powered off. Then it was powered on by itself again this morning so I assumed it must be on v59 by now but nothing has changed. I did read "Enable public test channel in the oculus app settings and the update should appear" but I can't find that setting.

Are you getting an acceptable frame rate (fps)? If so, then that's the main battle won, shimmering will probably be down to some graphics settings, maybe try using DLSS or TAA or DLAA or DX11 or DX12 if u haven't already? I haven't tried MSFS with my Q3 yet but will try it soon.

THere seems to be a lot of minor updating going on both for the Q2 and Q3, I've had the option to "update then switch off" on multiple occasions over the last few weeks. I think it might be the apps updating, not the firmware.

Cheers, yes frame rate is acceptable, I'll keep plugging away with those settings.

I actually tried this last night. It looks really good though I did struggle with the cue a bit. I'm not sure if that's cos I'm a leftie or just how it is, but it felt awkward. Most amusing was how big the table was but I was in my bedroom which is nowhere near big enough to fit a table anyway with everything else in there, so I just kept grabbing the handles and moving the table around. Most amusing. You definitely need SPACE! :)
It's a great free app i have had many a good match on it...try holding the cue further towards the tip it may be that it loses tracking if you hold it normally..i'm the same i just move the table around.

Thrill of the fight is amazing in mixed reality..no chance of hitting anything other than your opponent and it really gives you a good workout too i was sweating buckets after a few rounds.
+1, i love it it's my fave game at the moment, been playing it daily. I tried it ages ago and refunded it but now with the MR mode i just find it so much more fun, no worries about hurting myself or breaking things.

I was having shimmering issues in Iracing. If you are using oculus debug tool try disabling Link Sharpening. Worked for me.
I found out about this fix whilst searching and googling. The thread I saw also referred to MSFS issues as well.
Link here to that discussion....Hope it helps.
