Quest 3 owners etc

It's a great free app i have had many a good match on it...try holding the cue further towards the tip it may be that it loses tracking if you hold it normally..i'm the same i just move the table around.
I did notice that. If I cue like I normally would playing pool or snooker I couldn't line up the shot. I had to bring my hand much closer so the tracking would work. That's about the most disappointing bit though obviously to be expected if it can't see what you're doing :)

I am loving Quest 3 and I am enjoying PCVR more and more, still experimenting with VD, air link and cables. And I am going all wirelss now as the technology is there, while my 5G router seems decent enough I want the best experience there is so I bought TP-Link AXE5400 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Router which is the router recommended by VD. Will report back once I have it all running next week.

Having Beat Saber on PC is such a blast as it is so easy to install custom songs compared to doing the same on Quest 3 itself and playing while listening to your favourite songs makes such a differance and there seems to be unlimited amount of costom content out there. Kina crazy how easy it is to do and how big custom songs scene is.

I've got that one and it's great. Can get wired quality wireless, or as close as makes no real difference.

I was in Red Matter 2 and my floor level has changed, it's higher as though I'm sunken through the floor. I came out of the game and adjusted my floor level with the blue crosses that you can lower with the controller or by touching the floor with the controller. But in the game it hasn't changed. I'll mess around with it again. Anyone know a solution?

Had a similiar thing happen to me while playing Half Life Alyx, and I did same thing as you did and it fixed the issue. Perhaps restart the headset.

For anyone interested, I got myself a 7800xt today and have played with virtual desktop and AV1.

At 150Mb/s AV1 I get 3ms encode time. The Xilinx AV1 encoder has finally brought AMD to be a viable wireless PCVR option...

I'll totally pay for not buckling and getting an NV GPU, but it feels so wrong to pay £500+ for the the equivalent of the 3060 in terms of cost and complexity. AMD only marginally better *sigh*

You probably have "seated" selected in the preferences - same happened to me.

Check the options and make sure you have standing VR selected

edit - sorry I misread, when I had the issue it was that I was floating higher than the floor (seated selected while playing standing)... worth double checking the setting corresponds to how you are playing though as if you are playing seated and have selected standing in the options I expect you'd see what you've got.

I have to say I've tried a bit of wifi streaming using AV1 10 bit 200mbps on the beta and it's fantastic... very good image quality for the most part. The Q3 is a very good headset overall.
