Quest 3 owners etc

I've just purchased a Quest 3 (arrives Friday). My last VR experience was PS VR on the PlayStation which was okay. I have a couple of questions hopefully someone can help with;
  1. My son has a Rift S. Do referrals from Rift to Quest work? Or does it have to be another Quest user that "refers" me for us both to get the referral reward?
  2. With the PS VR, you cast to the TV via the PlayStation. I know the Quest can cast to the TV but how does that work? Do you need a dongle for the TV? Cable? An app on your TV?
Looking forward to using it. Some of the Augmented reality stuff looks neat.
Sorry, no idea on 1 or 2, but just in case 1 doesn't work i've pm'd u a referral. Don't forget u can buy games/apps too with 25% off with a referral. Edit: btw yeh the AR/MR is imo pretty neat, just be aware the passthrough quality isn't as good as u see in videos of it. but it's still decent and much better in very good lighting.

If you have a Firestick you can cast to an app on that called AirScreen.

I think there could be a speaker problem with my Quest 3. The left speaker seems to have a different dynamic range than the right which makes the audio balance seem off. It's strange I've only noticed this now, unless it's just happened. I suppose I can just use headphones but when you pay so much for a device you expect it to be perfect. In all other respects it's working fine.

Z10M had the same issue with his and returned it.

I'll try the same audio tests I did on the Q3 on the Pro and see if I hear any difference. Would rule out dodgy hearing!

Could be a brain tumour.

Huge thanks to @Ravenger for a post he made almost a year ago to the day.

Just bought les mills bodycombat. I think this is probably the most fun I've had in VR :D

Love the fact you are in a room with real people with a leaderboard.
