Quest 3 preview

It took 3 days for mine to change from processed to order accepted.
Huh. Mine says “Delivery by Tuesday 10 October (checked on 05/10/2023).” And the tracking says “Order being processed at supplier”.

I always have terrible luck with buying tech, so I’m going to hope that I do get it on the 10th, but if others are further along the process I’m not sure if I’m one of those lucky people!

That’s exactly what mine says! Here’s hoping it does in fact get to us on the 10th.

Mine says the same, so i phoned them yesterday morning, she said everything is ok, i'll receive it on the 10th. I've made a payment on it too so it must be ok.
 
Mine's now showing as Cancelled - Delivery by Tuesday 10 October :(

Just tried calling Mary Berry only to be kept on hold for nearly 20 mins and then hung up on by adviser when I was explaining why I was calling.

I gave up on them. After appearing to work my order ended up showing as "declined" for no apparent reason. Same thing kept happening and after several phone calls it seems there is some security problem with my account (only set up to make this purchase) that they are unable to explain/rectify. Hopefully JL will come through for me!
 
Well I have now got through to speak to someone and they have confirmed my order has been cancelled. Apparently they tried to call me on Monday to let me know. I did receive a call from them just after 6pm and was trying to answer it when they hung up (the phone only rang about 6 times) but as they sent my order confirmation a few minutes later I assumed that's all they were calling to say. Apparently not. According the rep I spoke to my order was sent for 'further credit checks' and then cancelled, and she advised me they will only try to call once. I asked where the order cancellation email was and she didn't have any answer, all she kept saying was 'I can only apologise'. Pitiful. Guess I won't be getting my Quest 3 quite as quickly.
 
Ah man, that really sucks. FWIW, mine is still ordered, and the checks updated to include yesterday at about 8pm last night.

A further update. I had a call back from the rep I spoke to earlier, which isn't particularly unexpected as I raised a complaint about their (complete failure of) customer service. She asked if I'd had a letter in the post. I haven't, which she seemed mildly surprised at as it was supposedly sent after they tried to call me on Monday (or that's her/her manager's story). She's sending another letter and, when it arrives, I need to call them and reactivate my account is what I think she said and then I will be able to place the order again.

I asked about the £100 welcome voucher and she didn't completely confirm it but it sounds like I might still be able to use it. We shall see. If I don't get it then I won't be ordering from them obviously but, much as I detest their abysmal service so far, it'd be silly to not avail myself of it if offered. She asked if she could close my complaint and I said "yes, when you've confirmed my order at the price that was originally agreed".

I'm still curious why I failed a credit check as I've only ever once been late paying a bill and that was in the early 90's when I lost a job.

Similar but perhaps not quite as bad as my experience. No emails received from them about my orders. Unable to explain exactly what the problem is with my account. A letter allegedly sent but never received. A promised call back from their complaints team (within 24 hours) also not made...

Sorry to hear that. I'm not holding my breath given what's happened so far but we shall see. I did actually get an emailed letter today with a complaint reference and I can almost believe they have sent a letter as Royal Mail have been dismal over the last few years and I don't even think they have someone doing daily deliveries here anymore as it seems we get nothing for days on end and then a bunch together. Another load of cowboys.

Looks like I got lucky - I just got a call from Mary Bery. They confirmed my details and said it would arrive "tomorrow or Tuesday". Fingers crossed!
Congrats! What does your order page say? I haven’t received a call but I paid right away up front
