Shame it's only a 110' fov, I look forward to the day we have HMD's that are 150, 110 is still scuba goggle territory.
Get a primax

is the Q3 really 110 degrees? if so far from complaining about it, that would be amazing, and would make it the biggest FOV headset to come from oculus/facebook/meta.Shame it's only a 110' fov, I look forward to the day we have HMD's that are 150, 110 is still scuba goggle territory.

iirc the true FOV of Quest2 is around 96 degrees and quest pro 106 degress.

Thanks for posting this ShiWarrier. Goodness me. I'd ilke to watch that but the speed of the dialog is so fast I had to stop it at 90 seconds in. Too fast for my old fart brain to cope with
According to the specs it is meant to be 110' which is an improvement over the Q2 but still roughly on par with a Valve Index in that department which I found still had that scuba goggle view. Once 150' becomes more mainstream I'll invest into VR again.

Great, I will wait and see what the feedback is as people should start getting Quest 3 very soon. Ideally I want a standalone headset too for some casual gaming (Beat Saber was a lot of fun) but also want to be able to connect it to my high end gaming pc to play HL Alyx and whatever else good there is as well.yes you can use it on the PC
pico 4 is a good PC VR headset, but the Q3 should be one of the best really for the price

I was quite staggered (once setup and with a good WiFi 6 WAP in the room) how good the Q2 was with PC VR Irelessly, playing HL ALYX was amazing.. obviously the difference going back to the standalone performance/graphics was that bit more jarring, however the Q3 should start to bridge that gap..ah, Q3 then![]()

I'll probably relegate my Q2 to sim racing or something, where wired is preferred and the resolution is s step up from my older Windows MR headsets..

Why would you use your Quest 2 for racing when you have a Quest 3?
It's just because the Quest is shared in the house, my son loves VR as well, and my daughter sometimes gets her friends around and they play a few games, it's downstairs in the cinema room since that has a nice 4m x 3.5m of clear floor space we use for VR.. the sim rig is upstairs..does not compute!! The Quest 3 will be better for PCVR, wired or wireless.
People ordering from the place rhyming with Berry - what stage is your order at? I ordered on the 4th and I’m still on processing, with estimated delivery on the 10th.
