There is a health issue as well. OP and the wife should both get themselves down the clinic and get tested for STD, people with multiple sexual partners are a serious health hazard. You have no way of knowing if it was either of the guilty parties first illicit liason.

i would definitely, wouldn't you like to know if your other half was cheating on you?

tell him to pop round and just say "thought you would like to know my gf is cheating on me with your husband byyyye."

then hide in the bushes later when he comes home from work.
