Sorry if it's in the wrong section.

My question is, is the stock thats shown on the website the stock thats actually available to pick up from the Newcastle Under Lyme store? I don't want to order online and would prefer to just go down there myself.

Thanks.

Far as I am aware yes, you can order online and select collect at store if you wanted to.

Just take your time and follow the guide in your mobo manual. Any problems, just post.;)

Should I reformat my current hardrive first? it will be the one I'm using.

BTW when I was in overclockers earlier some guy came in and bought an AMD bulldozer....I should have said something.....poor guy...

Just reformatted hardrive and am now proceeding to strip out all old parts of my case, as I need it, lol. Luckily I have another comp to use in case I get stuck, will update as I go along.

Thanks :)

I can't find the right connection to plug my new psu into my cpu, does the CPU even have a power cable? All I see is a 4 pin slot and my PSU wire that says 'CPU' on is 6 pin....

Only wire I have attached is the mainboard. The huge 24 pin one.

Help :(

Yes, either 4pin or 8pin. What Psu have you got, can`t remember.

Which PSU did you get? And a 6 pin sounds more like a PCI than a CPU one.
There should be a 8 or 4 pin one, if its 8 pin then it splits in half.

It was 8 pin I'm a plonker, didnt realize I could split it, although the other 4 that isn't plugged in is almost touching the mobo.

Now I just dont know how to plug the dvd and hardrive into the psu.

SATA devices use Molex cables. They'll be the ones that you have the msot of ;)
There are 4 types of cables in a pc.

24 pin mobo
8/4 pin cpu
6/8 pin PCI
Molex
