Queue Position 1, 5600X

Not sure about the 5900x but I managed to order 2 5600x for me and my partner from a competetor and they are with me as I write this post. Was quite a battle to add the items in the card till the check out but after wards things were smooth.
Was able to reach to the retailer via live chat as well and could see timely updates on the account from order received-->processed-->shipped with trackinf info.

With OCUK the experience was aweful. Ordered 1 from here as well and was managed to checkout around 14:20 with instant paypal payment. No updates for the whole day yesterday so cancelled mine this morning for someone else to get it- if overchargers uk does ship them!
 
Gah, can't decide if i want to join the queue for the 5800x now or not. Really don't care about waiting but if i don't join it now i have to mess about keeping up to date with where has stock and whatnot.
Sigh, stupid FOMO.
 
I'm at 132 for a 5900x.

I was spamming 4 websites at the same time, I had the 5900x in the basket on both Overclockers and another site, hit payment on both, then they crashed and didn't complete my order!

At least 132 isn't too bad.
 
Queue #570 for the 5600X.

Didn't realise they would run out so quick.

Picking up my case and psu this evening from a competitor. Got everything else just the CPU to come....

They had thousands of these available and plenty more coming, it's unlikely you'll be waiting months unlike the Nvidia launch.

So yeah have a bit of patience but it's clearly not a paper launch.
 
Queue positon 294 for 5600x, ordered around 15:35. Will be trying to get either a 5600x or 5900x as they restock at other websites that don't have queue systems, and cancel my order if I manage to get one.
 
Ordered a 5900X at around 5:30PM, panicked when I saw pre-orders were already up before 5:00PM, position 621. Hoping to get it before Cyberpunk releases.

Yeah I can confirm. They went live few minutes before 2pm and site started crashing since 2:00
Got mine 5900x shipped should be here for Monday

U weren't told anything u just assumed that topic subject from amd conference day was accurate but it's been told numerous times that it's actually 2pm. Need to pay more attention I guess since majority of ppls had no such issues

It eventually went through at 14:48.

I had gone on 4 different sites at 2pm hoping to snag one, managed to get a 5900x in checkout on both OCUK and a competitor site but they both crashed when I went to payment and the other sites sold out!

So I left it for a few minutes, went back onto OCUK and snagged a pre order. It doesn't state it in my email but the date 20th Nov was stated when I made the order.
