Queue Position 1, 5600X

Queue position 388 @ 16:35. Can't see it being fulfilled this month tbh, so thinking of binning off and getting a 3600. Got new MB/RAM/CASE etc. all standing by..
 
They are trying to order in 10,000 units, and they are guaranteed to get a decent amount each week, but if Giibbo can get the distributor to fulfil the order properly we should see 600 units of 5900x a week 200 of the 5600 and 5800.

I'd keep in the queue so long as you have a backup laptop or rig to act as a daily driver until then.
 
Just got my update. 5900x position 900 and change.

Would be nice to know if they are getting 300 a week or is that just he next order.
 
I ordered a 5900x on 6th Nov, with a queue position of 828. Today's email update puts me at 779.

It looks like Overclockers are having major stock problems.

I wouldn't say it was just OCUK...seems most retailers are having supply issues, especially after Gibbos update yesterday, distributers are slipping dates and dare I say it numbers shipped to. There must be some hefty security in the chain because I can see those "losses and breakages in shipments" ending up on other sites for a premium. Its the laws of supply and demand and where the latter exceeds the previous a black market forms. That's my conspiracy anyway! Im surprised most shipments don't arrive in a armed g4s van
 
Must be very slim pickings on the 5800x chips. I was on position 336 and this week ive only gone up 62 places to 274, so im wondering if only reason i have moved up is due to cancellations......

I'd sent a support ticket earlier in week and they said they were not getting any this week. Cant think they would have only had 50-60 cpus in a delivery, although who knows!

I saw something in the week that only around 1200-1500 RTX 3080's had been shipped to the whole of the UK!
 
Sounds like the 5900X might be the most popular. I ordered a 5950X on the 8th, and today I was given a queue position of only 371. I couldn't use the CPU even if I had it now though, as the motherboard I want isn't available either.

I was in position 168 last week and the email today said I'm now 128th so cancellations are at least some of the reason for the updates as I've only gone up 40 places.
 
5950X ordered on the 5th, was 172 last Friday, moved to 161 today.

Doesn’t look like there’s a lot of 5950X arriving yet. Hopefully that picks up.

I paid with PayPal credit, but it decided to take the money out my account this week anyway. Probably a PayPal issue rather than OcUK, but annoying nonetheless.
 
Like probably many of us, im frustrated at the waiting but I guess the people who have cancelled must be deciding to buy a different chip, as surely the availability wont be any better anywhere else, so we may as well wait.
