They are meant to actually be fairly decent to drive, there was a thread on PH saying they are very chuckable in the same vain as an old mini. No experience other than a dull passanger ride, though, myself.

Saying it's good on the motorway is not really true at all though, I won't even comprehend saying 4krpm at 70~ is the perfect experience in the mini. I can't say it bothers me particularly but I can see why it would some :)

I've driven the Ka with the older 1.3 and a fiesta with the same engine back to back. Prefered the Ka. Only advantage the fez had was it was geared a bit better for the motorway. Handed the fez back to the garage and told the guy who said that most people have said that.

I'd be interested to try the Fiesta 1.25 though to see if it makes up for the added heft.

If you are looking at Kas try and get one with the newer engine, its not a whole lot different but has a bit more torque at the high end and in 55k miles hasn't developed the ticking noise (valves i think) that the older ones always had.

'Tinker' with a 1.3 Endura-E. LOL.

who said it was a 1.3 endura-e anymore ?
1.6 home brewed turbo conversion (raw but it doens't have move)
