As you can see I have had second thought and decided to do it.

As you know my cooler has a 120mm fan so have gone for the 120mm Silverstone grill. Its on order. Need to buy a 120mm hole cutter now

Thank you, yeh the fan is set low until the cpu hits 60 then goes to 100% once at 70

Part of the problem you have (as I've said before) is extremely limited case airflow. I would use the same fan as top intake as whatever fan works well on cooler .. because all the air coming in top vent is goning through cooler and out back of case.

I think you are getting me mixed up with m2 as we do not know what case he is using
