Anyone else getting a message about a stretching desktop when using certain resolutions on games?

Just want to make sure before I pass it onto ati.

All I care about is the damn fan, during games it can work at full whack, but during movie time i'd really like to get rid of that 15seconds of random fan noise :p
Still very happy with the card though.
 
Is supreme commander performance any better? since that and company of heroes are the games i mostly play atm. Pretty poor performance in the new xbitlabs review but im not sure if they are using the new driver set.

As far as i can tell these drivers are basically the same as the previous ones, HL2 engine based games still have the fog and when i tested fear with AA, its just the same FPS as the past few drivers. The fan is just the same, either full on or of, i don't mind it though as it keeps the card well cooled. Lets hope the official drivers bare no resemblance to these or i will be severely ****** off.... :mad:

They seem to be the same *sigh* I fubared up a setting in CCC somewhere and Fear runs slower than it should, hence why no benchies, sorry :(

edit: lies! it wasn't CCC, i just enabled v-sync in Fear, feel free to go "dur!" at me :rolleyes: :p
