All of the AIB 290's are great cards. What is your budget? Will you be to looking to overclock or run stock?

AUX voltage.
Well the temps seem pretty damn good for 1.5v.
The cooler is a monster. Just had enough time to settle it in last night so need to make sure everything is as it should be later. There was definitely some throttling going on towards the end of the evening.

Waterblocks please and you will be over 1300mhz.
The Samsung memory seem to be working well as it is giving you a nice performance boost too.

Easiest way to fix your physics problem is to run 2 cards, I also get the same problem with a single 290X. Two MSI Lightnings would be very impressive.
I don't think it is an AMD problem, I think it is more to do with futuremark having a bug.
Why does it work ok in crossfire though and why does disabling powerplay fix it for single card if its a firestrike issue? I'd like for you to be right, but im not so sure.
Just tested it with the latest version of Firestrike and 14.4 drivers and it seems to be working ok now.

I should be scoring around 18k with those settings so it's a tad irritating. I'll try the powerplay fix this evening. Nice to see 5 years on power play is still causing havoc
That's good to hear. Use 14.4 then Frosty. They're better than 13.12 anyway.

1.25-1.4 without hacks depending on ASIC and as much as you want i guess with a simple target line change.

+1 to what Geeman says. Don't exceed 1.5v on air though.
