Welcome to the red team, this is why we use AMD cards. We haven't mentioned that API either yet.![]()
Not today please.
I almost mentioned Nboumf in another thread but changed my mind at the last moment.

You've lost me Kaap, but don't make me send the boys down to Hampshire.
![]()
yeah it's about the same on the graphic tests, only afew difference due to your using pcie 3.0
was yours at 1050/1350?
Hi Humbug, it is not overclocked. I think when gpu tweak is set to powersave it does underclock the card. Max temp is 82.
One wonders where Kaap gets all his 290X reviews from.![]()
No i was wondering where you keep plucking them all from, it is quite impressive.

Stunning cards. I tell you, It's going to take some time getting used to have three silent air cooled gpu's in my system.

Remember folks, you can never have too many Radeons!
![]()
its no good random Asus card is making it look odd you need to buy 2 moreor buy x99 and go 5 way Xfire?
![]()
im pretty sure Nvidia/AMD will be updating with x99 just to be the first
imagine if X launched it first. They will be shoving down the other throat. Even if it makes 0.00001% difference its PR
but you could waterblock ok lot cash but you still could
wonder what would be cheaper 295x+290x or 3 290x + watercooling
OK, sign me up to the owners list!
![]()
(It's hard to see but the top card is a 290X)
Proud of you GM.![]()
![]()
Grats GM, Those 295x2's were a cracking deal imo , You stick to what ever side you like! We buy cards to suit our budget/needs not what others want
I'm now an owner too, got me an Asus R9 290X DirectCU II, runs great![]()
i know i did say they don't have the 680 listed hence why i put the 690, tbh i really didn't know the 690 is nearly twice as fast as GTX 680, I've only owned 2 NVIDIA gpu's in the past 17 years.
