You could get away with a 450W for either a Nano or any single card really
Didn't KitGuru do that and found that it didn't change much?
Anyway, I'm still a bit puzzled over the hate for this card. AFAICT, it's a lower-clocked Fury X in a smaller package, but it's exactly the same product underneath so therefore you would expect it cost the same.
If you want a cheaper Fury X, you can get the Fury.
What am I missing?
^ blimey. £300 more for not a huge amount of fps!
.
Dude, seriously you could say why buy a GTX980TI when its a few FPS more than a GTX980,or buy a Titan X over a GTX980TI if its a few FPS more.
If not none of you should ever buy anything over a £250 card.
I don't berate anyone for what they spend and that is totally their choice but under no circumstance can I see a reason to recommend the Nano and that is what my point was. I also agree with Andy and can't find a SFF case that has a big enough PSU to cope with the demands of the Nano but the case is too small for anything else, so as it stands today, I just can't see why someone would buy a Nano over the much faster Fury X/980Ti in truth.

SFF PSUs go up to 600w and sfx-l PSUs will soon go up to 700w.
Bear in mind my setup (laptop with cpu at 3.4-3.7ghz and titan x at 1500/8000 )runs ok on my 500w psu.
Some good info and well done Bru. I can now see someone who wants the tiniest but very powerful PC being interested in the Nano.
I don't mind admitting when I am wrong or just don't know![]()

That took all of five minutes to look up, so you guys saying you cannot find a case/PSU combo that will only fit the Nano couldn't of looked that hard. ( I mean mini ITX cases sort by price and it s the first one)

I did 3 consecutive runs of this bench maxed at 1440 last night with my Fury and at the end it hadn't even reached the 75 degree operating temp of the Tri-X so no this is not a good example for seeing how hot the card get's and how much it will throttle once it's being used in a gaming session.
It's not hate, it's just flat-out confusion.
