What do you think about this?

Particularly this

All that tells me is that East Asians and Europeans have a good education system and the rest of the world doesn't.

yes, i suppose its not fair to compare ppl with poor education to people with high quality edu.

That graph looks like it is based on small sample sizes.

Also, such IQ tests might be 'eurocentric'. But as Europeans we are free to make our own eurocentric judgements on others, so eurocentric judgements are valid to europeans.

I do believe in cognitive differences between the races, and I believe in cultural differences and perhaps even racially specific parts of the collective subconscious like Jung suggested.

Race is still a touchy subject but it is becoming less so.

the second heading on the page says "The neutrality and factual accuracy of this article are disputed." which says it all really.

How can you compare the "IQ" of a group of people who it has been created, to a group of people who use a completely different form of learning?

We are benchmarking them within our own system, they are free to create a system and benchmark us.

My dad was schooled in South America and the West Indies, his IQ is 170+, i was schooled here and my IQ apparently is 160 according to tests i took as a teen, maybe genetics play as big a part as social conditions?

I think that

1) It assumes that IQ tests are an acurate representation of intelligence across all cultures

2) It is impossible to remove all social/economic/cultural differences between the sample groups to make such experiments scientifically sound.

3) You could draw up various other experiments based on other arbitry factors that may present similar results.

I wouldn't argue with the accuracy of these results, but I would be very wary of drawing certain conclusions from them.

Ive read one lot of research that was done, where Jewish people came out on top for intelligence. This doesn't suprise me though tbh, as they have been presecuted for thousands of years, which could mean that intelligence was required to survive. I certainly don't see it as racist that one ethnic group is on average more intelligence than another. We are not all built the same, so its pointless trying to argue that we are in the name of political correctness.

IQ tests have and will always be a poor way of measuring IQ. It is not something that can be truely quantified in such a manor as a test that we are capable of performing. Someone who is not so geared to mathematics may have exceptional ability with manipulation of wood for instance. how would you measure that?

Also people who have done tests will do better at them with practice. They are a joke to take seriously.

They are internal tests, they are based around what Europeans see as virtuous and measure intellect from a European perspective - they are a valid measure of our preferred intellectual characteristics

2) It is impossible to remove all social/economic/cultural differences between the sample groups to make such experiments scientifically sound.

As it is with almost any experiment, many of which are taken as fact. Information such as this combined with other sources of information could contribute to a comprehensive argument.

For example, differing levels of academic achievement in diasporas from these regions could be compared against the chart to provide some interesting comparisons...

3) You could draw up various other experiments based on other arbitry factors that may present similar results.

Yes, and these are taken as indicitive of the issues that they represent i.e. class differences... yet somehow a 'fog of indecision' descends whenever people are asked to examine racial differences.

As well as the level of appreciation for Education.

Well from my personal experience....

Asians are good at maths
Whites are average at all
Blacks are good at physical things/ music

or am I being racist?

Can't believe the score for Inuits. How did they even test them?

"What does this shape look like to you?"

Fish.

"Do you know who the first US President was?"

Fish.

"Do you know what element 'Cu' represents?

Fis...Ice.
