im balb0wa on there, im in top 110 in exp points, i think you need a wheel to get the real fast times, on spa i get 1.42.50 lap on gt1 in the marcello, think fastest is 1.40 ish.

i tend to play with collisions off, no arguing ! but it is good to have a blast with them on.
 
Does washing your cars make any difference? Only saw the option recently, used it, I presume the car is cleaner but what's the point of it?

One of my stats told me that my dirtiest car is the Dodge Viper, I'll be using it in my next race (my first global event), does it make any difference if your car is dirty?

some people say it makes the car weaker in destruction derby, ebay cars tend to be faster to, certainly with the bmc's, pick one with lots of wins etc.
 
sorry guys but a stupid question...

when you setup the controls... there is one that says "boost" assigned to B
but I cant find any part in the game that it actually has any use
have you??

Using a Saitek pad, with the left analog controller for steering and buttons for on/off accelerator/brake. Can't get used to analogue for both steering and throttle/brake, my brain can't deal with it :)
 
Is anyone getting this error with "grid.exe" everytime you exit the game?

Also, when in the racing options menu, sometimes the framerate just plummets, then returns to normal when you choose something. Whats up with that?

(This is on a HD4870 btw)
 
I'm still waiting for my free copy from overclockers, they said they sent it last thursday. Should it take this long? Can't wait to play especially since im on holiday atm.
 
i added 3074 ports to firewall but still for some reason cant connect to online races do i have to somehow ad ports to router as well ?

as well hot to turn the router into dmz ?
