Race Driver: Grid

I cant get it to config my Logitech Controler properly, tried a few ways and car keeps driving forward or to the side itself, also cant get full throttle.

Game actually does not look that nice with every single setting MAX'd @ 1920x1440, got 35FPS but was to lazy to boot to Bios to OC back up from 3GHZ to 4GHZ.

I dont think I like this game, I always love them going by the Movie Trailers, but the only games I actually like were NFS Series apart from Pro Street.

Does anyone's AV go off with this?

I'm guessing it's a false positive but you never know.

The following from the earlier Gamershell's links page is rather worrying though.

I would say so as the demo did not appear till just after 8pm, and time says : Hosted since: May 8, 2008, 6:24 pm

So IMO they replaced it as there has been nothing all day till 8pm.

One should use a gamepad, for such a peripheral was designed as the primary usage device.

Hated the PS3 demo, love the PC demo. Go figure....heh. Probably because my G25 wouldn't work with the PS3 demo for some reason, whereas it does on the PC. Makes the handling a lot better. Still very arcade, but it's darn good fun. Graphics are mint too.

Anyone know if its possible to move the camera around in replay mode or are you stuck with the bog standard angles?
 
the game recognises the G25 wheel , you can navigate through the menus and settings fine but try using it to race with and failure ensues , grrrrrrr arrrgg ... ive tried changing every setting with no joy , anyone else had any luck with it ?
 
Well, I ave absolutely no sound.....

Apart from the CM intro vid.....

And it looks and feels EXACTLY like CM Dirt, even down to the loading screen style. I also feel that it looks like it isnt running at 1440x900 even though the setting say so, just looks a but jaggedy, like its running at an extrapolated HD 720p resolution.

Will see If i can get the sound working
 
the game seems to play alright from what i make out, problem is its like a disco! constant flickering graphics and game doesnt seem to recognise my wheel properly. So keyboard and flickering horridness for me :(
 
been playing this the past hour, most fun iv had playing a driving game since MSR on the dreamcast! lol

game runs great too with everything maxed, i have crossfire on also but i had to disable the catalyst A.I setting for it too work. Really like the style of the game, can be very tense and the crash scenes are great. All it needs is a good gameplay progression system in place, and it should do quite well imo.
