You tried dropping the Hardware Acceleration down, i had to drop it down to Basic on Crysis to get sound.
^ ^ ^
Cheers loadsa - yeah, it was defaulted to the lowest setting for me. I've tried others but with no success.
Apart from the sound of the codemasters video that plays while the demo loads there's nothing. Even the menus are silent.
I did have it freeze during the install though. But only right at the end when it was doing something with directx. Bit odd. TBH i might reinstall just to see if that sorts it.

so in the opinion of those that have it...how does this compare to gt5 prologue? do they feel the same or are they radiacally different beasts?

Thanks skeeter - i'll go and give it a try!Do you have Steam running? Ive found having steam open in the system tray kills all sound apart from the CM intro.
Do i just double click setup.exe from within the winrar file? I'm having real trouble getting this going!
It's also pretty unplayable with my Saitek P2500 pad too. Bit of a shame really as it runs like a dream.
