Racism

oh.... the N word in Africa I was told by an African that it means 'friend'. But, because of history it is used as an old definition word for 'slave'.

It's history that made it this way.

I'm just speaking for myself. Clearly there are other black people (I have friends who use the word) who dont mind using that word.

Racism was invented by Hippies and Benders who are really bent but think they are straight so play the old 'we have emotions card' with things like Racism to try and get ladies interested.. when in reality they look like a shovel has been wrapped around their face 40 times and any bird interested in that is probably being served up around the country on Christmas day. Then end up wearing their mums stockings in some grubby public loo waiting for Leroy77 to turn up after chatting to them on the net.

At the end of the day its a fact of life, either do it or button it imo.

So..... Prejudice was invented?

I always thought it was in our nature to judge people on a number of things (colour included)...

Some could say we have an ignorant view on racism because as "white people", we don't have to deal with any racism towards us.

I don't think we should use the term white people it offends me, I am not white I am pink, unless hot or sun burnt the I go redish.... Or white / blue when cold or black and blue when injured....

Out with white, in with "usually pinkish but some times red blue or black"

I find the term 'coloured' offensive even though its not intended to be.
I've only heard it used by 'white' people.
Why is white not considered to be a colour?
Everyone is coloured.

White isn't a colour, neither is black, they're shades, so really only asians are coloured lol. However white people aren't white, we're a sort of pale red/white/pink, Black people are brown, thus as you say, everyone is techinically "coloured"

lady on the tram was racist!

She expressed a hatred for other races and that she, a white woman, was superior to everyone else on that tram. It was embarrassing to watch.

I dont see how calling someone a [whatever race] **** is racist.

If they are acting like a [whatever race] **** towards me I'd find that a just enough reason to call them it.

Most of the stories I hear and read are petty.

As for it being racist calling a British person a brit or a scottish person a scot...really? *shakes head*

Well tbh, so what if she was? Everyone should have the freedom to believe and say whatever they want shouldnt they?

In doing so they simply make themselves look like morons, which is good enough.

I made up a quote

One is only truely free inside your own mind, inside your head your can believe and think whatever you want.....it is when you choose to voice that belief in public that it causes probelms.

Basically, believe whatever you want, just don't go around telling other people what you think because it's likely you'll get the **** kicked out of you lol
