Radeon 6900 XT

Overall I think taking the stock issues into account, the 3080 and 3090 are the best GPUs on the market currently as you CAN actually buy one with regular drops from NVIDIA for FE. By the time AMD gets their act together for 6800XT and 6900XT once they are done with the console allocations and NVIDIA's 3080 Ti stock normalises, we would be staring at a March/April/May time frame by which time NVIDIA will be refreshing the whole Ampere on 7nm TSMC with their Super refresh of the 3080 in September AND Hopper would be a year away.

Its all highs and lows. The 3080 comes out - yeah - little stock - boo - you can pick one up if you are quick - yeah - but still struggling for stock weeks after launch - boo - AMD release 6800/6800xt its a serious Nvidia competitor - yeah - there is 0 stock available after launch - boo

Panto season came early in September.

AMD have seriously scored an own goal with this one when it was looking so rosy.

Once again I'm just going to take it as a paper launch today and not bother trying to get one. I'll sit back and watch the foaming of those complaining that they didn't get one. Bigger things in life to worry about than getting annoyed at missing out on a graphics card.

Hi there

Launch is at 2PM today, you won't be able to buy anything from OcUK at 2PM, you will just be able to browse MBA design product.

We will make product available to order when we see fit, most likely later this week or next week and as usual I shall give a heads up on the OcUK forum in the GPU section a couple of minute before going live, we have around 100 and we expect them to sell out within around 30s even with doing an under the radar style launch.

We will not be taking back orders, if we do over sell when we make them available, the over sold orders will be cancelled and refunded, this is not because any more are coming but simply because we are unwilling to take back orders any more.

Cheers Gibbo.

Agreed. It's a launch in name only, and few will actually stand a realistic chance of getting one. The bots will be there long before any of us, assuming they're not stolen from the warehouses first!

:mad:gibbo youll be waiting forever then as vaccine aint gonna get rid of covid

Why angry face for that. They actually being sensible and looking after their staff and public and your view is screw you I want the store open for me? At least that is how the post comes across.

Says sold out on the AMD store but guessing they haven’t technically gone live yet anyway?

If I worked there, I'd put in my own order into the system so it reserved one of the GPU's for me ;-)
