RadeonPro Must have Program for AMD

It doesn't work for me in some games either, with BF 3 I can't get it to work at all, this includes FPS, sweetFX and sweetFX doesn't work with sleeping dogs but FPS etc. works (manually adding the sweetfx files for sleeping dogs works fine though).

BF3 is a bit fickle like that.

I simply uploaded SweetFX to the BF3 directory. it works perfectly, nice colour, sharp and all that, but MSI's OSD then stopped working, i had to add the BF3.exe to Rivatuners directory and then edit code in the GPU Observer directory to get it working again.

Works fine here. I just create a BF3 profile, then select dynamic vsync and switch off ingame vsync.
If you go into settings where you can select witch corner the FPS counter will be shown you can there setup a hot key I use ctrl+F for enable and moving around the counter.

For sweetFX I just leave the file inside the BF3 game folder and it works am sure over on the guru3D forums its been said there is an issue with sweetFX not working correct.

Yeah, i read that, it wont work on the 64Bit RadeonPro, there is a x86/x64 link on the bottom left corner of RP's window, clicking on it switches it between 32Bit and 64Bit, still will not work.

Maybe i have to physically install the 32Bit instead of the 64Bit, it would be nice to get that working, it looks like once its connected you can make adjustments to it and play with it.....

Mine always says 32bit. I not sure what version I installed 32bit or 64bit lol am not removing it to find out, up to now everything works for me.
Well apart from in app sweetFX.

How do you disable that annoying window that opens at login talking about the 64bit program and saying "there's nothing else to do here"? Bugs the crap out of me every time

From looking at my installation the 32 bit runs but it has a 64 helper which runs alongside it (you can see this in task manager).
I had these problems using the global settings(osd not working, non of the injectors or dynamic v sync) after setting up a profile and tagging games to run with it as soon as I did that everything worked for me the global setting just didn't work.

global doesnt work for me either, have to use profiles instead. It's not a huge problem as i dont play 100's of games at any one time, but it would be nice if that was fixed lol

Well i seem to have got it working by pressing on the 32/64bit icon bottom right hand side now it says 32 bit and seems to work, i like that the OSD shows when the Dynamic V-Sync is kicking in!

The sweetFX addon is part of the beta additions to radeonpro. It's not surprising it doesn't work too reliably with some games yet.

Personally, I'm still using the non-beta version that's been out for over a year and that is extremely reliable. The only feature the beta has that I really want is the adaptive vsync.

I think this will be a great program once its working, unfortunately right now its complete hit and miss while instructions for it are very thin on the ground.

I have all the settings enabled for OSD in BF3 and it plain will not work while no one can explain why, some just say it does work while are in the same boat as me.

SweetFX is another thing, trying to get that to work, people say "oh you have to import it" import what? there are 50 or more files, you click on import settings randomly selicting files that look like they need to be imported and Windows explore closes once you clicked on the file, no info as to whether or not anything has been imported or happened, the settings box just stays gray. so you repeat that until you have imported every file you can find and its still gray.

I will keep looking at newer versions until i get one that works, but it needs do be simplified, there are a lot talking about editing code to get this and that to work.

This is exactly why i gave up using Ubuntu.

Tbh I have found sweetfx extremely easy to install onto readeon pro all you do Is download sweetfx unzip into a folder of your choice then go to radeon pro click the browse folder option in the sweetfx tab click on the folder you put sweetfx in open done all the options become available in te sweetfx panel and you can adjust there also you can download already made profiles for games from here:http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/ (only site I've found so far if anyone has anymore sources I would appreciate it if they could share them)
Again all you do is download the file stir where u wish then in radeon pro in the sweetfx tab click import find the folder you stored the file click open and voila!

I had problems using sweetfx in dead island caused thin black lines all over the place (walls, floors!) batman seems fine looks so much better with sweetfx enabled and with my tweaks.

There is no folder tab, simply Import settings, that's it.

First off you need to tick the box to enable sweetfx as currently u haven't got it activated also in te settings menu u have a enable sweetfx option in there also I believe.

Also don't forget to click either the global profile or your own customised profile

Got it thanks :)

Thats one of the things that IMO needs to be simplified. to turn of SweetFX you don't go to the SweetFX Tab, nope, you go to the settings button to import it.
Then you can go out of that and return to the SweetFX menu.

Importing SweetFX in the actual SweetFX menu which looks at you in the main window.... would be far to ergonomic and logical, far better to make a user 'eventually' find it in an unrelated sub menu. :p

Thanks again :)

Humbug once you have chose OSD make sure you also choose where it is displayed top or bottom that was a mistake I made! Also you have to go to settings and then advanced to choose a hotkey! The main mistake like a say I made was not choosing top or bottom on the OSD tab.
