Radiohead

I kind of thought I wouldn't have given either song second though if they had been released by anyone else...

There's nothing to be that excited about on the basis of those two tracks alone IMO if you exclude the band playing them is Radiohead.

I disagree :) I think BTW is one of the best three and a half minutes of music out there, regardless of who its by, and Daydreaming sends shivers down my spine every time I listen to it, and I've played it dozens of times. I don't think I've ever been more excited for an album ever... so there :p

7PM can't come soon enough.
 
As much as I like these two songs, I do agree with Nitefly.

I'm holding out for a top album (like In Rainbows), but wouldn't be surprised if it's a mish mash effort like TKOL once more. I'll be annoyed if it's less than 10 tracks after 5 years.

As a big fan of RH my patience has been wearing thin recently with the ****ing about, I thought they would have grown out of the cryptic nonsense by now, but they've got worse!

I'm excited. This album has come out of the blue. I'm just happy it's actually happening.
 
It's true... appeared on my Google Play Music before dissapearing. Seems Google messed up.

So hyped - the track list has some awesome songs on it that I already know of... including an old classic!! Can't wait!

So the title?... I like it personally. The reception on the RH channels seems very positive, but glad I waited for the official launch.

I was going to get the SE but stopped because of the 78 rpm requirement, it would end up being an extremely expensive purchase after a new turntable has been acquired. May reconsider if I win the lottery...

Eh? Pretty sure that's just referencing the artwork case bound inspiration. Album will be standard 33 or 45 I'm sure.

I ordered SE instantly. My TT doesn't do 78 so I bloody hope not haha.
 
Identikit is a good track.

This album is complicated. I like it, but I think I'm gonna need a good few listens to get used to it all.

The tracks sound like movie soundtracks to me.

Yeah Jonny is all over this album.

Enjoyed first listen, but as with every Radiohead record it will take more listens.

But yeah it is prob among best first impressions along with IR.

Not sure if I'd call IR my fave though... just very accessible.
 
I'm on my 4th listen.... If this is not considered a masterpiece then I'm lost to this world.

I know six months, or six years, down the line I'll not change my mind... Guys you have done something amazing.

Spirit of Eden... you may have to move one place over.
 
One listen so far and it's rather good! I was wanting something a bit more upbeat tbh, like In Rainbows but this will do. Decks Dark and Ful Stop are my faves.
