Decided I may go completely sSd for everything not in my server

Currently I have in my desktop 2x128 gb m4s
I was thinking of adding another
My board is only sata 2 and m4s are really cheap

I don't care about data risk and have never had a raid 0 fail

Any bad points to this?

Never really seen any difference in general realworld use between a decently fast single SSD and RAID'd ones unless your specifically doing something that benefits from extremely large file transfer speeds. Some games marginally suffer from the difference in access times.

Don't think there is really a wrong or right answer here if you don't care about data risk.

EDIT: SATA2 might swing it a bit though as more of a benefit compared to having SATA rev 3.

theres no need for raid 10. If anything goes wrong it takes 45minutes to restore my PC to the way it was the day before

i might start with 3 M4s (as i have 2 already)
