Hey guys. Just got 2 x 120gb corsair F3s, and have been struggling for a few hours now to set them up. I don't know what I'm doing wrong
I've followed my MOBO manual to the letter:
First, I set the SATA Mode to RAID Mode.
Secondly, I rebooted and pressed CTRL + i or L (l isn't very informative to me in the manual, it could be either, so I tried both). This is to get into the "intel rapid storage technology option ROM utility", apparently, to set up RAID. Nothing happens, it just tries to boot up to one of the SSDs.
I've unplugged all my other drives. Both drives are being picked up as they are both listed under the boot device options. I've also reset all my settings in the BIOS just in case something was messing it up.
My SATA cables are both plugged into the two, white, 6G slots on the MOBO. I also tried using other slots too.
I've been on many forums and watched many videos to see if they help, but they all get the option to enter the RAID setup utility, I do not. I never see it on the screen.
My MOBO is the asus sabertooth z77, with the i7 3770k. If you guys need any more info please don't hesitate to ask.
Any ideas at all guys? I knew this would be a pain in the... neck... to set up!
