Played a few hours last night... I went in to it fully expecting to play a few rounds and hate it. Well 3 hours later I kept telling myself I didn't like it, but I could barely stop. Thankfully it crashed and I went to bed LOL.

Anyone else playing? What you think?

I won't comment on the visual fidelity since it's an early beta. Definitely glitches galore, but there may be something to this after all.

I've played a few hours all in all its ok. I probably won't buy it :(.

Graphics need work badly it's not the 90s. Mechanics seem sluggish and the maps too small.

It doesn't need teamwork it's possible to lone wolf it.
 
Yea in the plane you can definitely do it all lone wolf. House too, but in the house when attacking it's fun with a team that speaks lol!
 
I've played a bit of the Alpha and fully understanding its an Alpha but to me it just feels bad, at least the gunplay.

Each experience I've had has just been a spam fest when it comes to shooting each other with no regard for accuracy or positioning. The hit detection seems okay but with it being an early Alpha there is a lot of strange animation stuff going on meaning you often die before seeing the guy.

I've also yet to play a round as a team due to zero coordination (if you played with friends this would help) so I miss a lot of the tactical side of the gameplay.
 
Played this today in a setup in San Diego for comic con. Got paired with 4 random American guys, had a guy coach us on controls and techniques initially then we aimed for the leader board.

Unfortunately two people got killed by a breach and we didn't get the top score :(. I actually really enjoyed it. Considering I only really play dota it's been a long time since I did a game like this. The emphasis on team work was really fun. Played for about 30 mins.

Almost tempted to get it on release.
 
So it's in Beta now then? I signed up for the Beta when it was in Alpha but not received any emails?

I really want to try this out.

Edit: Just checked their site "CLOSED BETA FROM 24/09/2015" so it's still in Alpha then... wish people would put the correct terminology on things, gets me excited then it turns out to be wrong! :(

Being a Ubisoft game this will have to extremely special for my to buy it.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like its going to be :(
 
Every time I read anything about this it just seems so limited in scope. A single building or area with terrorists inside and the good guys outside. I used to play a Rainbow Six on XBox and it seemed to be much larger in scope than this game. It seems so limited and simple I'm wondering what the hell is taking them so long TBH!

Far more interested in the other Tom Clancy stable Ghost Recon Wildlands.

I remember the days when I used to play rainbow six through msn gaming on dial up and then rouge spear as well!!

think I'm showing my age now so ill stop lol

had some American friends send over their copies of rainbow six as theirs didn't require the CD to run the game where the UK version did
 
stopped my pre order of this game ages ago when i heard theres no dedicated servers that we can rent :(

so i got "Squad" :D
