Rainbow 6: Siege - Closed Beta

The fact they're binging out keys left right and centre should be a bit worrying. Lack of interest maybe? Might explain the 2.5 light year wait for a game to start.

Anyway, I've spare keys too if anyone wants one. Bing a message on here or Trust me and I'll fling them out.

Or they want to stress test the server much has possible maybe?

Its already been stress tested, it clearly doesn't ******* work.

I been in it since the closed, closed beta it was much better then before it opened up. Last weekend it also played very well till around Wednesday and then server started getting more demanding again..

These things happen, look any online game COD battlefield all have had server issue come release. What's different here you might ask?
Well least ubisoft are extending the beta by already a good bit seeing it should have closed 29th then 1st and now 4th
You know they want more stress testing just by the fact they give everyone who already had beta key another 4 keys..

Anyway least they trying and not just releasing in this state. I credit them for all this and it shows me they mean business.

Wow am actually defending ubisoft :D

it was horrendous last weekend and hasn't improved since!

I managed to get into 5-6 matches over the whole of last weekend until I gave up, and I've managed one match this evening. When we tried to squad up I think it took us a good half hour to get 1 match, then it just stopped working.

When I've loaded it up to have a go during the week it just doesn't find a match, to the point that i get bored of waiting after 15 minutes and play something else.

On top of it all loading it up to have a 'special offer' of a £70 preorder for something I can barely play just takes the biscuit.

Not sure the man because 5 of us was on
It this about 4am last Saturday. And on and off over the week. It was only from Wednesday I noticed server issues again.

Maybe if you have a full squad of 5 its better then, we had the 2 of us and 3 randoms but were waiting constantly, that was prob 12-2am saturday morn?

So far I haven't played a single round! Disconnected, shut down, host left and black screen without being able to join a game at all!

Keep trying you'll get there in the end ;)

For me it was the opposite I could easily find a game but day by day the matchmaking has just become worse.

Yeah, those dedicated servers are great.

They are dedicated but they use p2p for voice chat and this is making the game server have issues..
The players connect to the server but that server also picks a player to host communications when that player DC they need to improve this.
A Dev was on forums other day explaining.

Possibly, but then maybe people might actually need to be able to get into the server in the first place.

Personal opinion is its a cluster **** right now and a gimmicky joke of a game.

This is all normal guys. A development studio isn't going to up a scaleable cloud server platform, just for a dev cycle... because it simply costs to much money to run it. They'll be using a test server at the minute, most likely not scaled and most likely not using CDNS or anything funky to distribute anything needed down like stats and so forth that will probably be replicated/distributed via CDN as it would be cleaner to deliver.

So why when the servers can't cope with it pump out 4x more keys per player than you can cope with?????????
