Rampage :)

hmmmm your call. I am not answering that. With that IC I go upto 1.9v but remember my IMC is cold.

ha ha lol, dont worry i wont hold you responsible for any component i fry!!!! the mrs might as i'd have to buy it again :D

ok am i safe enough with 1.75v ?? i would not go past that anyway

Doing a bit more tweking, trying to lower timings some more and got an error code 1A, should a little Vdimm bump sort this?? Or help??

Error's are occuring in linX when the load drops and go's onto the next test

Thats when Linx correlates teh results from a pass and will error out. 1A is memory. Maybe Vdimm, maybe timings or maybe VCCSA.

been doing a bit more tweaking hows this looking mate???
stable with IBT/linx/memtest now just need to use to do final checks

cannot touch primary's at all, suppose that is where the cold comes in??

hmmmm thats why tell users to just use the pc as a stability test. Tweak it abit more. TRFC and Thirds.

I'm thinking my problem lies with vtt/sa voltages there both at there 1.2 limits, pll still at 1.65v would raising this help??

I was using the bios before the latest one have since updated to the latest, i'll try the above settings again with the new bios.
When it stalled i got a 7F bsod code.

Bad power delivery effects all components. Quad channel is very complex so yes it could effect the RAM clocking or stability for sure.

Will find out tomorrow, got a new one on the way, saved the profile so will test again.
On your mini system which you have just done, how do you get your cinebench score above 10, i tried with cpu at nearly at 5.2 and ram at 2.4 with reasonable timings, so whats your secret??

Hope your back up and running ?

You don't expect 8pack to give his trade secrets away :p

Yeah running ok thx scotty, working ok although when i run firestrike extreme its running 6-700 below my max which is very odd/worrying, will have to investigate further.
And yes i want all the secrets, at this level. :D in the cold he can keep a few back ;)

set all auto and keep going up. The board will select strap etc for you.

No secrets to Cinebench at all. I just ran it. Its not a HWbot bench so I dont know how to make it efficient other than having a very efficient system in general. All those benches on that system are non tweaked.

Hi bud got a question for you. Since having system back up and running i have been running a moderate oc profile, 4.8 cpu and just under my rams frequency due to the divider, so all in all a breeze. Ran this for 6 days just doing normal stuff, bench/tests/memtest/gaming/etc then one day it just would not boot, bios, nothing, had to clear cmos, any ideas why??

What was the debug code on hex display on the board??? This will tell us why. Probably memory training but without the code its difficult to say.

not sure tbh, also since psu blew, had "bad pool caller", mrs using pc earlier and it bsod on her(too much shopping overload!!!) and that was code 101, so possibly more cpu volts, but it just cant be, either my chips degraded or something fishy is going on.
Think i'm going to re-install bios incase that got corrupted, have already done a windows refresh.
also left eist on the other day and my pc really did not like that, kept stalling until its multiplyer increased, never noticed it that bad before.
so i hate to say this but after bios update i'm gonna run it at stock  for a bit and see what happens.

Oh and seen some dual channel psc's that are meant to be good for 2400 c8 on air, any good for my board for benching????

thx bud
