Random 3D printing chatter

Morning all,

I have tried to find a local 3d printing service but to no avail, so trying the trusty OCUK forums.

would anyone have the capacity to 3d print something VERY small for me? I have the FreeCAD (Link Branch) file. By small I mean 1.5mm thick "shims"?

would appreciate any support - Thanks in advance.

Problem with something very small is the effort taken to get to a good print.

I'll happily have a look if you want to send it to me through trust. Only have PLA+ in white at the moment, will probably be ok but if it's going to be under pressure (between a bolt and object) then it may struggle.... Need to check the use case.

Not much pressure, its for Shims for a coffee machine drip tray!!

Ill drop you a trust

Just acquired a QIDI Q1 Pro (found with a significant discount in a rainforest). Coming from a CR Ender 2 I have to say I'm impressed. This thing really is just plug in and play.

Started scratching the surface of Fusion360. For context, last time I dabbled in CAD words like "Pentium MMX" were still in use, so to see how far it's come is quite something. This will be one hell of a learning curve but one I will thoroughly enjoy

For those with recent bambu printers, how long did yours take to get delivered? I finally bit the bullet at the weekend after years just looking at 3d printers, now I'm itching to get stuck in with a whole programme of prints already planned but nothing on dpd as yet.

Recently bought a Geeetech Alkaid for like £80. Didn't really do my research so it's not anywhere near as easy as I'd hoped plus I haven't printed anything yet as I didn't realise how toxic resin was and now need to clear a space in the shed and keep it warm

Any of you lovely humans fancy making me a hook for my Dyson stick 'long bit? I've found this thing that looks alright - unless anyone has found better solutions?

Making space for my own 3d printer soon :D

Many thanks

Go on these sites and have a nozy:

See if you find anything that fits the bill and stick up a link. I'll do it for the cost of material + leccy + postage.

Or you can put your big boi pants on and come for a beer and collect it :D
