Something like that.

To be honest, that sounds high to me, I would have thought the entire forum probably accounted for more like 1 or 2% at most :p The gaming forum alone is probably almost entirely insignificant, if everyone in here stopped buying from OcUK, I doubt they'd even notice.

Of course they would. Even if it was ONLY 10%, they are classified as a medium company, and a quick google gives it as a company with 6.5m or more turnover. (Cannot be bothered to pay for the company accounts), 10% is £650k.

A couple of years back their turnover was in the region of £30m IIRC, I suspect it's probably a bit higher now.

I don't for a minute believe that if the people posting in this subforum stopped buying from OcUK that it would have a particularly appreciable impact on business.

The forum as a whole? That would be noticed, though i'd still be surprised if it accounted for 10% of their business.

The forum is an OcUK's asset, getting rid of it would amount for an immediate loss of a large part of the business but would be even more damaging in the long term.

What happened?

I missed most of it as well. Got in late last night to find the top 3 threads in the PC games section all on the same subject, with people talking about deleted threads, Neil79 was banned then unbanned after a revolt!

Apparantly some mods did not behave in a professional manner, so i have heard.
