nope, they have a thin film over their eyes, but no discernable closing eyelids from what I remember

Indeed, there are "fishes" (plural allowed due to the plurality of species) that have eyelids. As someone poited out, some sharks have nictitating membranes, while others do not and roll their eyes backwards to protect them instead. ~ yahoo answers

really? well shut me up then, I've sat for hours staring at fish and never seen anything of the sort, I know reptiles and amphibians have 2 sets of eyelids though
